OUR MISSION
Ines and Yvan are two young Cameroonians who love the traditions and ancestral art of their country of origin. In order to share their cultural heritage with the world, they created Madeinkamerun, a brand of handmade jewelry that draws on local Cameroonian and African knowledge and traditions.
The aim of the brand is to highlight the ancestral know-how of artisans from the ten regions of Cameroon.
To do this, they built an intimate relationship with each of the craftsmen. And, they work alongside them to offer unique and timeless pieces.
Madeinkamerun items are intended for people looking for the touch of originality that will enhance their outfits. But also, accessories that will reconnect them with their origins. Our collection of unique jewelry is available in France, Canada, the United States and Africa.
Cameroon is a central African country which has the reputation of listing among its geographical landscapes, its tribes, its traditions and its human potential the quintessence of African cultural diversity. Our desire is therefore through this platform to show this wealth and let it be discovered by the rest of the world.
At MadeInKamerun, we combine imagination, legends and high quality materials to create unique jewelry. Our craftsmen use raw and wild stones, wood, fabric, ropes and fishing nets to produce original accessories.
The materials come from rural areas in the North West of Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Nigeria, Kenya or other countries on the African continent.
